Hello,
My book “The Creative Virus” is about my creative journey and encouraging others to create a live they love to live in and don’t need a vacation from. Here is an excerpt from my book about how I see loneliness.
“When I say, “I’m not a people person,” people who don’t really know me think there is a punchline coming. It may not seem like it with my career choice, but I’m really not. Some people get together with their friends or loved ones to have fun and recharge their batteries. That is not me. Sometimes just answering back a text can be draining on my personal battery. Keep in mind there is a big difference between shyness and introversion. I’m not shy, I’m not even sure I’m introverted, but like many artists, I value time alone more than I do time with others. It’s nothing against people in general; it’s just sometimes it’s not worth the gamble of socializing when compared to how draining it is in the end.”
It doesn’t matter if you see lonely times as peaceful or stressful, there is something in today’s video that might help. Just know you are not alone.
Have a great weekend.
God Bless,
MJ
